Motivate your child to read with this adorable reading chart. You decide how to use the chart. Use the pieces as incentive to help your kids read – or incentive to remind you to read to them. Construct the poem on the chart – each book read earns a poem piece. Or you could determine an amount of time (say, 15 minutes) your child needs to read in order to earn a poem piece. Have lots of fun and use the chart creatively to motivate your child to love reading. Some ideas: place the pieces in random order, so it leaves the poem a mystery until the end, or when you complete the poem buy a new book! Kit includes: the laminated chart (removable adhesive on the back), ten poem pieces, laminated envelope, and velcro. Some assembly is required but don’t be scared.
